The Silver Star Story remake contained a lot of "extras" within the game. One of these extras was bromides: collectible portraits of different characters in the game (in the case of SSS, all of the female characters). There were 10 bromides in the first Japanese Saturn version, and 13 bromides in the other releases (including the US version).
