Notice of LUNARHOPE.com's Closure
By September 2006, LunarHope will go offline
Seven and a half years have passed since this site first opened.
The reason I began this site was because I really like the Lunar series. The "Hope" in "LunarHope" was chosen as the name because of a desire to see the series continue for a long time. When this site first started up, I knew very little, but learned many things from the people around me. Perhaps those same people no longer visit this site, but to those of you who had the patience to deal with my inexperience and teach me those things, I sincerely thank you.
Making the calendar, editing the contents of the site, talking with the people who come here--on the chat room or the message boards--updating the Lunar Goods section with more merchandise, enriching the novel project and artwork messageboard... Every time I think of the things that have been done on this site, it brings back so many pleasant memories. (1)
However, while this is a personal matter, I regret that I no longer have the time needed to maintain the site. For the last 2-3 years, I haven't been able to make any updates, and haven't been able to incorporate any new information or merchandise that has come this way. For the people who have submitted such things, I would like to take this time to offer my apologies to you for my inability to update.
The maintenence of this site for the last seven-and-a-half years is all thanks to the many people who have visited it during this time.
Also, to everyone who has sent me merchandise or information, to everyone who worked on the production of the calendar, to everyone who worked on the signatures, to everyone who offered assistance regarding the knowledge or tools needed to maintain the site, to everyone who frequented the chat room or message board, to everyone I was and still am fortunate to know through the "Lunar" name, to everyone, I offer you my sincere gratitude.
Thank you very much.

About Reprinting the Site
I am stating below my thoughts regarding the treatment of public information on this site, for when the site finally goes offline. This cannot be enforced, so in the end it will be up to individual users.
Submitted Works:
All submissions to the site are the property of the original contributer. If the contributer has a personal website or other place where the work or media is online, then whatever can be done with the submitted work is the decision of the contributer him or herself. Also, for those who are not contributers, there is no automatic permission to re-use the things that have been submitted here. So please do not reprint online these submissions elsewhere without their permission.
Walkthroughs and Documents:
The information that was on the walkthrough page, and the things I researched myself, were online on LunarHope; however, the information is common knowledge now. Hereafter, because there might be people who still could use this information, this can all be reproduced anywhere without limit. (For example, where "X" item can be obtained, or when "X" game was released--that sort of information.)
But, please refrain from copying the HTML and images directly off of the site.
