Lunar: Walking School

Welcome to LunarNET's Lunar: Walking School section! Lunar: WS is the first "side-story" ("gaiden") of the Lunar series. It was released in Japan only on the Sega Game Gear in 1995, as Lunar: Samposuru Gakuen (translated either as Lunar: Walking School or Lunar: Strolling School). Despite being a side-story, it went on to spawn a major remake (Magical School Lunar), as well as manga, a novel, and a few drama CDs. Neither the game nor the remake ever saw a US release.

Lunar: Walking School takes place approximately 300 years before the events of Lunar: The Silver Star. It tells the story of Elie (Ellie), Rena (Lena), and Senia, three girls recruited for the Magic School of Ien. The school is on a traveling, floating island, and their adventures are the kind one might expect at any school: finding the right professor, dealing with annoying classmates, saving the kidnapped student body president, rescuing the Blue Dragon, fighting off the Vile Tribe... y'know, the usual hijinks.

The biggest part of LunarNET's WS section is our walkthrough and guide--the only complete walkthrough of its kind. But we also have the usual info pages here, like character bios, screenshots, artwork, and packaging. Let us know what you think over on the LunarNET community forums!
