Silver Star Harmony - Website - GungHo Works Official L:HSS Website, Second Update
On August 10th, 2009, GungHo Works redesigned the official Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star website. (The website launched on May 15, 2009.) There's plenty of new information, plus a first look at gameplay footage and the opening animation.
Here are the main highlights:
- - The Japanese release date is announced: November 11th, 2009.
- - The first trailer with gameplay footage is up! LunarNET has it up with translation: Silver Star Harmony: Trailer 1
- - The soundtrack will include three all-new piano arrangements from Noriyuki Iwadare.
- - The soundtrack also includes new recordings of both Tsubasa/Wings and Wind's Nocturne.
- - A minigame is going to be available on the site soon. Details forthcoming.
- - There will be an additional never-before-seen scene involving the Four Heroes.
- - All the original (Japanese) Silver Star Story cast will be brought back, including Kyoko Hikami as Luna, Tomokazu Seki as Kyle, and Kiyoyuki Yanada as Ghaleon.

The world of Lunar is reborn on the Playstation Portable!!
Story
The Goddess Althena and the four dragons over whom she rules. On the magical world of Lunar, the strongest defender of the world is a legendary warrior known as the "Dragonmaster". But, some time ago, Althena disappeared, along with the last Dragonmaster, named Dyne. And now there is a new person calling himself the "Magic Emperor"--rumors of him have even reached the village of Burg, where the young boy Alex lives. One day, Alex, his friend Ramus, his childhood friend Luna, and Nall, embark on an adventure to the White Dragon Cave... Little did they know that their adventure would set in motion events which would change the world...
Alex, Luna, and all their friends are back. The masterpiece of Lunar is now on the PSP!

The young boy who dreams of being a hero...
The story will be expanded through full-length animation scenes. Original character design is by Toshiyuki Kubooka, known also for his work on Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water and Idol Master. Original story is by Kei Shigema, known also for his work on Silent Mobius. Music is by Noriyuki Iwadare, also known for his work on Phoenix Wright 3.
You can use the AI in the turn-based battle system. The PSP version will have an updated musical score. A great cast of voice actors also help tell the story...

Revisit the glory with new elements!
The PSP version gets a a great update in graphics. In-game graphics, movie scenes, and even the sound are all updated and remastered. Even the original animation and voice will be revised. And, there will be a new episode featuring new voice acting, meaning a reunion of the original voice acting cast.

Finally, a new secret of the Four Heroes
The PSP version, Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star, will feature a new episode covering events that happened in Lunar's past. Over a decade ago, the Legendary Four Heroes fought against a great evil that threatened the world. This scene is created by the original creator of the Lunar series, Kei Shigema, and has never before been seen. This will be the missing link to tie the series together!

Soundtrack
The limited pre-order bonus, the limited-edition soundtrack for Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star is set.
The jacket design is by the original character designer of the series, Toshiyuki Kubooka, and it depicts the scene where the heroine Luna sings atop the boat [from Saith to Meribia] as its design motif!
Also, the composer of the Lunar series, Noriyuki Iwadare, has rearranged several songs on the album, and added three all-new piano arrangements as well! What's more, Kyoko Hikami, as Luna, has re-recorded a 2009 version of Wind's Nocturne and Tsubasa/Wings! These two songs are a special version by Hikami just for the PSP.

A word from Kyoko Hikami
Before, I would internalize everything when I was recording: the melody, lyrics, my role in it, my view of the world... and somehow I would sing from there. But now that I understand from the beginning what sort of image to keep in mind, I can focus on that instead. I tried my best to sing neutrally. [Editor: ??]
There are many things added to the PSP version of Lunar, but the essence is unchanged. I hope that those of you familiar with the previous Lunar games feel as excited to play it as one would be meeting an old friend. And I hope that those of you who will be playing it for the first time enjoy the new take on Lunar and its high quality.
Even now, they're able to add much more to an already-wonderful game. I hope that many, many people will enjoy it.
